Junior Model Theory Seminar
I am taking over from Marga this semester for the Unterseminar! It is a seminar series where only people who do not hold a PhD are allowed. You are welcome to talk about your research, your thesis, or just fun facts you have learnt recently. It’s supposed to be informal and fun, so it’s a perfect place to practice giving talks.
The talks will take place on Mondays at 11am, in the PhD room on the first floor of Orléans-Ring 10. Optionally you can come to tea at 10:30, snacks will be provided. The talks should be below 1 hour long.
Here is the list of speakers and talks:
- 27/10: Yiwa, Hilbert 10th Problem I
- 03/11: Yiwa, Hilbert 10th Problem II
- 10/11: Jonas, Convincing a Computer: mathematics in a proof assistant
- 17/11: Zahra, Some Model Theory and the Free Factor Complex
